Venue: 2805 Broadway St. Boulder, CO 80304
In an imbalanced, accelerating world-in-crisis we face problems that cannot be solved, as Einstein famously said, “from the same level of consciousness that created them.” Many contemporary practitioners have turned to the Dharma as a source of that higher consciousness. But traditionally, the path was described as the way to awaken from the dream of human life, not to improve it. The traditions saw that as futile. But today, we no longer see life as an endless cycle.
We have an evolutionary view of ourselves and even of our spirituality. And we have seen the folly of “bypassing” our critical life challenges in an attempt to be “spiritual.” How does the wisdom and clarity of ancient Dharma have relevance and meaning in the midst of contemporary evolutionary challenges? How can spiritual insight and illumination empower us to more effectively meet the emerging challenges of our time?

This Month’s Theme: EMBODIMENT & PLAY!
Join us for a night dedicated to breaking through the barriers of our ‘social masks’ and self-imposed restrictions as we PLAYFULLY explore and practice meeting each other through revealing our authentic, embodied expression.
August 29th’s theme is Embodiment & Play: We’ll be exploring the art of meeting and honoring others -as they playfully choose to express themselves. You will also practice allowing yourself to be seen and met through embodied play. Having fun with the layers of the ‘social masks’ and self-imposed restrictions we don consciously and unconsciously. We’ll be diving in to play and expression to see how honestly and adventurously we can share ourselves in the moment, with the person right in front of you.
About Game Nights:
Game Night provides a safe place to take risks and play a little more outside the box in a way that allows you to discover more of yourself and other. Games are like ice breakers with an edge. It’s a fun way for people to get to know one another and create community. Even if you’ve known each other for years, this is an opportunity to share and be seen in new ways. The best part is this is for singles AND couples of any sexual orientation. Meet others who are into exploring new forms of relating or meet your current partner in a new way.
These nights are worth their weight in gold; they’re way better than a movie and popcorn!
Date & Time: Saturday August 29th, 6:00*-9:00pm. We’ll go as far as we can in 2.5 hours. *Registration and social mixing begins at 6:00..Please be ready to start at 6:30 Sharp!

Jeff Salzman and Patricia Albere
9/2/09 at 7pm
Entrance $ 15 standard ($10 Boulder Integral Members)
Join us for the evening as Jeff Salzman (Boulder Integral) and Patricia Albere (Evolutionary Collective Founder) discuss these levels and the turning point at level 200, where we become capable of interacting with other human beings in truth & intimacy. This is where the inter-subjective ‘we’ can finally exist. Below this level, people objectify others and operate in a way that is dishonest and based on survival & self gratification.
Many of us are clear that the evolutionary edge exists in the “we” space. Patricia’s work with the Evolutionary Collective is wholly focused on the very practical and real capacities we need to truly evolve together. Jeff as well as many other spiritually mature, creative and committed people from all over the US have been involved in the Evolutionary Collective in the past year, discovering the edge, with it’s incredible intimacy, power and creativity.
For more information and to see a video of Jeff and Patricia discussing this work, please visit www.EvolutionaryCollective.com
Please join us for a very inspiring and impactful evening.

Next Date: Dec. 17th at 6:30pm (free of charge – guests are welcome)
The theme for this final gathering will be reflecting back on the year 2009 in your personal life and how you plan to move into the new year.
As part of your Boulder Integral members’ benefits, you are cordially invited to participate in member-driven meaningful conversations on the third Thursday of every month. Come, bring your brilliant self and the topic(s) you want to discuss. These evenings are typically small group casual conversations on anything from sex, to bringing an integral perspective to the local library, to holding one’s integral worldview at work, and more. Anything goes, as this is an opportunity to meet with other integrally informed members for an evening of free-flowing conversation. Members, you are welcome to bring guests.
This is your evening, so if you have integral knowledge and education and want to share what it actually means to live a fully conscious life looking through an integral lenses, this is the place for you.
We enjoy using the Open Space Technology format and rules, which are basically; all the right participants show up, it starts when it is supposed to (around 7pm), and ends when it is supposed to (around 8:30). This is an adult evening where we employ the “Rule of Two Feet”, basically, if the conversation is not working for you, use your two feet and move to one that does.
These evenings are facilitated by Christine (fellow member), Jeff, and/or Nomali and have been nice platform for exploring the interior, the exterior, and the application of integral into each of our lives.
