Joyful, peaceful, serene, transparent, interdependent, fully present, timeless, aware … feeling loved, lovable and loving.
Author and dear friend of Boulder Integral, Jim Warner, will guide us on the journey to this Holy Grail state of conscious, full-out loving. Jim will both share his own story and draw from the stories of the thousands of leaders he has guided at retreats and in transition seminars.
Drawing from his recent book, Facing Pain – Embracing Love: The Map to Authentic Living, Jim will present the difficult tradeoffs we face as we strive for both worldly success and intimate connection. These include: success vs. significance; accumulation vs. stewardship; competition vs. compassion; guardedness vs. forgiveness, and control vs. surrender.
Jim Warner’s insights are grounded in a rare combination of experience and empathy. Between 1980 and 1992, Jim led the start-up, growth and sale of Precision Visuals, a successful Boulder software company. Today, as founder of OnCourse International, he is a dedicated coach, guide and facilitator to leaders and companies facing challenging transitions. Having worked with more than 2,000 high achievers – as well as hundreds of their spouses – in retreat and workshop settings, Jim is a recognized expert at helping individuals, couples and teams achieve greater self-awareness, authentic, productive communication, and more fulfilling relationships – for more satisfying, productive lives.
Jim is the author of Facing Pain – Embracing Love, Aspirations of Greatness, and the audio series When Having It All Isn’t Enough. Jim has been married 33 years and enjoys enriching relationships with his three adult children. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan as well as an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
