For 21 days you will be instructed, inspired and supported to eat and live, guided by the Nutritional wisdom of your Healthy ancestors, your body’s innate wisdom, and scientific evidence.
You will learn a way of living that produces:
“Food Is Your Best Medicine” teaches you to markedly improve your Health and energy by improving the way you eat. You are also informed and encouraged to exercise, to study and journal, and support one another during the course.
Every session provides a high level of inspiration and education by Dr. Cropley. Charley’s passion comes through in his lectures! He presents information in a way that simply cannot be matched by reading it. You will leave each class feeling highly motivated and fully committed to live what you have learned. The amount and quality of information you will receive in each class is phenomenal.
For 21 days you will study and practice a way of eating that will make sense to you and that you can follow for the rest of your life. Additionally you will learn about such topics as Truths and Fallacies about Weight Gain; Raw Foods; Food Combining; Carbohydrate and Fat Metabolism; Myths about Cholesterol; The Psychology of Eating; Strengthen Self-Control using Kindness, and much more.
Additionally you will receive an “online” course book that you can print out for yourself. This course book is “in the trenches” practical. It includes detailed instructions and menus for each day of the course, recipes, shopping lists… You will also receive access to a special website that will include even more inspirational and educational information.
OVERVIEW OF THE EATING PROGRAM
You will adapt your eating program to the level of challenge that you feel best suits you at this time. There is absolutely NOTHING you are required to eat or not eat. Most people will follow an eating program that begins with a core diet of fruit, nuts, seeds, oils, small amounts of grains or starches and generous amounts of vegetables and animal or vegetable proteins. The program is adaptable for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. You may or may not choose to exclude potentially allergenic foods such as milk, wheat, sugar, yeast etc.
Allow about one hour per day for homework and to prepare basic foods.
COOKING CLASS – “SIMPLE NOURISHMENT”
This class will teach you how to make 4 to 7 days worth of nutritious, delicious, practical dishes in one food preparation session. You will also receive practical training in how to supply your home, as well as how to eat at work, while traveling and at social engagements. You will gain a deeper understanding about what the actual impact of certain foods really has on your energy, weight and Health. This information will not be covered in “Food Is Your Best Medicine”. What you learn here will be invaluable to you during the 3 week course and for the rest of your life. I cannot over emphasize the value of this class.
