Andrew Cohen & Ken Wilber LIVE

@ Boulder Integral Center, October 9, 2011

Ten years ago, spiritual teacher Andrew Cohen and integral philosopher Ken Wilber began engaging in a series of conversations that would come to redefine spirituality as we know it.  In each issue of Cohen’s EnlightenNext magazine, these “Guru and Pandit” dialogues pushed into uncharted territory as they explored some of the biggest questions of meaning, morality, and Spirit in the context of the emerging integral and evolutionary worldview. Perhaps their most foundational insight is that spiritual enlightenment—traditionally viewed as a transcendence of worldly concerns—must now, more than ever, become a force for evolutionary transformation at the cultural leading edge.

On Sunday, October 9, Boulder Integral Center is proud to host Andrew Cohen and Ken Wilber, for their third live Guru and Pandit event. Using Cohen’s new book, Evolutionary Enlightenment: A New Path to Spiritual Awakening, as a starting point—a book that Wilber calls “one of the most significant books on spirituality written in the postmodern world”—these two mystical pathfinders will explore why only a profound integration of timeless Being and dynamic Becoming can offer a spiritual realization that makes sense of life in today’s rapidly changing world.

This dialogue, cosponsored by Boulder Integral and EnlightenNext, will be followed by a special reception and book-signing, where you’ll have a chance to engage directly with Cohen and Wilber.

This event will sell-out as it always has in the past! Don’t delay registering!

A few things to remember for the day of the event:

Sunday Oct 9: doors open at 12:15pm

  • Like in all other downtown areas, parking is an issue here at the Boulder Integral Center too.  We have 19 spots to the south and west of the building.  There is ample street-parking in the surrounding residential areas.  Kindly be respectful of the neighbors.
  • Carpooling is always encouraged.
  • There is a bike rack for about 6 – 8 bikes.
  • The SKIP bus is very convenient. It goes up and down Broadway Street every 5 – 10 minutes. Ask the bus driver    to drop you off by Broadway & Balsam. You will see the Boulder Integral Center in the north/west corner.
  • There are also city parking garages on these locations:
11th & Walnut (Randolph Center)
  • 11th & Spruce
  • 15th & Pearl
  • 10th & Walnut (St Julien Hotel)
  • 14th & Walnut (RTD Bus Station)
  • From any of those city parking lots, you can easily cross over to Broadway Street and either catch the SKIP bus or a 15 minute walk to the center.
  • If you are here early and have time to kill before doors open, you might enjoy the many restaurants and coffee shops across the street from the center at the Ideal Shopping Center.

We regret that this is a very old building; therefore, not ADA compliant.  If you are on a wheelchair or need other special assistance, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss how we can do our best to assist you.

Best Wishes
Boulder Integral
