GET HAPPY! Proven ways to raise your emotional states

Saturday, July 11, 9am- 1pm
Half-day Workshop

$25 (members: $15)

Tom CurrenPerformance expert (and BI member) Tom Curren will facilitate this experiential workshop on the philosophy and practices of “Getting Happy” as a primary orientation toward life. Participants will work with practical exercises in appreciation and positive thinking, and be challenged to push the edges of their belief around the proposition that “We create our reality.”

We will present “Get Happy” as a primary injunction, rather than a byproduct of material success or spiritual growth. Participants will learn that “getting happy” does not mean living in a constant state of bliss; rather, it is an orientation toward reaching toward the “next higher” emotional level that you can access from wherever you are at any point in time, relative to any object of your attention.

Tom Curren has 30 years experience as a consultant, coach, facilitator and trainer. He specializes in “top team alignment” for corporations and nonprofits around the world. (See www.topteamalignment.com). Tom will draw upon his consulting experience using “appreciative inquiry” and “powerful questions;” his deep familiarity with integral theory, his background as an active spiritual seeker and practitioner, and applying the material from Abraham-Hicks to his recent experience with cancer. Tom will be assisted in this workshop by Boulder Integral co-founder Jeff Salzman.
